Built on a theory the palace of ventilation and jharokha, it was built, in 1799, by Sawai Pratap Singh, and designed by Ustad Lal Chand. It is the most attractive tourist spot of the Jaipur city.

Chittorgarh Fort, Chittorgarh
Portraying the story of Indian pride and honor, the Chittorgarh Fort is located in one of the oldest cities of Rajasthan, Chittoor. Built in the 8th century AD, it was built strategically to tackle enemies, heading towards the kingdom. It covers a large area, over a 180 meter high rocky hill of the Aravalli mountain range, and stands as a beautiful tourist attraction. Famous palaces of the fort are Vijay Stambh, Kirti Stambh and Rana Kumbha Palace.

Junagadh Fort, Bikaner
Its was built in the year 1588 by Raja Rai Singh, a famous general of Mughal emperor Akbar. Junagarh Fort was developed beautifully on Indo-Mughal architectural pattern. It is built using pink sandstone, and looks amazing even from a far distant place. The fort has numerous large pavilions, courts, arches inside it. The painting and notes outside the fort are the main attraction of this astounding feat.

Kumbhalgarh Fort, Udaipur
Kumbhalgarh Fort was built by the great Rana Kumbha of Mewar. Known to a very few, the Kumbhalgarh kingdom was the place, where the last Hindu king Maharana Pratap was born. The fortress was constructed so magnificently, that it is still considered as one of the most beautiful, grand forts of India. Badal Mahal is the most famous palace of the fort.

Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur
Located in Jodhpur, the Mehrangarh Fort was built in the 15th century by Jodha Rao. It has several architecturally rich mahals inside the main structure. Some of these world famous palaces, inside the fort, are Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, and Chandan Mahal.

Sonar Fort, Jaisalmer
The fort is situated in the city of Jaisalmer, and was founded by Jaisal in the year 1156. Built of yellow sandstone, it is also known as the Golden Fort in the city. The most famous palace inside the fort is Rang Mahal.

Taragarh Fort, Bundi
With peaceful atmosphere around, Taragarh Fort is a hillside fort in the Bundi district of Rajasthan. Also famous as the Star Fort, it is located about 40 kilometers from Kota, Rajasthan.
